• Java 6 or 7 (download it here for free).
• Ubuntu and Kubuntu users: Read "Install Java on Ubuntu or Kubuntu".
• Internet access.
   

• Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP
• Linux (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, SuSE, Fedora, Red Hat and others).
• Mac OS X is not supported.
  You can follow this instruction to install Storybook manually.
   

64-bit System (Windows and Linux)

• Install Java VM 32-bit first, then install Storybook.
   

• Download the ZIP-file, unpack it, double click on the setup file and follow the instructions.

• If you run KDE, see Install Storybook on Kubuntu
