In Storybook 3.1, the behavior in the “differences between dates” has changed.
Previously, in a same strand, the difference between dates was the difference between the date of the current scene and the date of the previous scene in the same strand and the difference between this date and the previous one. Now, it is only the difference between this date and the previous one.

Reason for closing:  Won't implement
Additional comments about closing:  not possible anymore. seems to be the price for having a vertical and horizontal layout.
